In his first show in seven years, John Carpenter brought many of his famous pieces of music from his films to life before a packed crowd at Knockdown Center in Queens. It was the perfect start to the spooky season hearing music from Halloween, The Thing, Escape from New York, The Fog, Christine, and others. He also played some music from his Lost Themes albums as well as an unreleased track from an upcoming 2026 release. It would have been great if the show had been slightly longer, but no one in the capacity crowd was complaining when the show ended. Hopefully it won't be another seven years before he does more shows.
